The purpose of Christmas

Today my family and I had the most amazing experience ever. We had the honor of being invited to celebrate Christmas in a small town about 40 minutes away from the city. People there were really poor as they live from their land and animals. Because of that we bought presents for all of the children.

I’m lucky enough to have been raised in a wonderful family, so each year, instead of buying presents for one another, we all donate the money and buy food and toys for people in need. I think this experiences have enriched all of us, and have helped us to become the best version of ourselves.

This year was even more special to me, as I es the one who bought must of the stuff and coordinated everything. I am really thankful for having the joy of seeing pure happiness in those children’s faces. I am thankful because I have the chance to make someone else smile.

If you have the means, please give something in return to those in need, even if it’s just a kind word or a plate of food, I know every little gesture makes a difference.

Happy Holidays!!! Hope you have a nice time with your loved ones!
